2.  After you do a pre-flight check on in-design and you do not have any errors showing, give your layout to Sean, Ashley, Ruby or Chris for critique.

3. Make improvements that the editors suggested and then make your final copy to be turned in to Mrs. Lambie.

Paperclip all three of these requirements and have them ready before the start of class on Friday, September 2011.

Procedure for leaving a class to cover an event:

This is a rare occurrence, but if it comes up you must follow these guidelines or you will not be excused from class and your teacher will be notified that you did not have permission.

1.     Have the event on the Google calendar.  (This should be put on at the begging of each week).
2.     Asked Ms. Hogshead for permission and explained why you need to leave your class.  (This should be done at least 48 hours in advance).
3.     You will give Ms. Hogshead or Mrs. Lambie the teacher, the class, the date, and time you need to be out of class.
4.     Ms. Hogshead will email the teacher for permission.
5.     You are to make up any work you miss and return to class as soon as possible.
6.     If you are not allowed to miss class then you need to find a replacement if the event is extremely important.

Weekly Assignment

Weekly Assignment:

For every organization, class, team, etc… that you are in charge of yearbook you need to follow up on weekly to update the calendar and to make sure that you don’t miss anything.

You will fill out the forms below and have the teacher who is charge of the organization sign the sheet.  These sheets are due every Monday or Tuesday (depending on which day we have class) to Ms. Hogshead.  If there is an event it is your job to ensure that it is covered.
